Start at Arlie Beach

I flew from Sydney to Proserpine airport (Whitsundays airport) with Jetstar ($170AUD RT) and booked a shuttle from the airport to my hostel with Heart of Reef shuttles ($42AUD RT).

Checked in to my hostel YHA Arlie Beach ($50AUD a/n) and went for a nice sunset walk and dinner with a girl from my dorm room!

When I got back to my hostel I had to pack my bag for my 3 day sailing trip the next morning! I booked through a travel agent Australia Expert and they booked a 3 day Whitsundays sailing trip with Pro-Sail on the Broomstick for me.

The sailing trip itself was $699AUD and together with that in a package I bought a Scenic reef flight with GSL which was $297AUD. I paid $899 for both with the help of the travel agent.

Food and drink recommendation for Arlie beach

On my first night we went to Beagles pizza and that was a really nice surprise!! It's a very small pizza place with only outside dining, but literally the best pizza I've had in Australia so far!

If you love kombucha you should definitely try out the kombucha bar at Fruits N' Roots, they have amazing sandwiches and toasties too (I went for the Avocado - Chicken toastie together with a passionfruit ginger kombucha and it was delicioooous!)

For the sailing trip you have to bring your own (alcoholic) drinks, I went in the morning to the store and got some G&T's for my trip.

Broomstick

As I said I went for a 3 day Whitsundays sail trip with Pro-Sail and I had the absolute best time! 2 nights and 3 days sailing around one of the most amazing waters in the world.

We saw whales, turtles and went to some amazing snorkel spots.

The crew was very nice and we had great food during the trip and at night we played some fun games. The boat was very nice and clean with a good amount of space, and for a boat the beds were pretty comfy.

We had a really fun group of approx. 15 people from England, Netherlands, Argentina, Denmark and Sweden and the 3 crew members from Pro-Sail.

For food they also have options if you're for example vegetarian, gluten intolerant, Halal or dairy free.
